2023 – 300 Main, Winnipeg, Canada

Winnipeg’s tallest building with forty floors and 142 metres in height was completed in 2023. In March 2021, it reached the height of 128 metres surpassing 201 Portage, which had been Winnipeg’s tallest tower since 1990. Originally planned in the 1970s along with the Trizec Centre (now 360 Main), the below grade shopping mall beneath was built fully expectant of a tower above in the following few years. Foundations and columns were built in this expectation. When finally constructed, It was using these existing foundations and columns to support the new tower.
