Substantial Victorian villa on large grounds, previously Winton House, later owned by Wesley College. Purchased just after the First World War, as their hostel Epworth House on St. Stephen’s Green was full to capacity, and renamed.

In 1969 Epworth Hall and three other Victorian houses were purchased by a consortium of property developer Ken O’Reilly-Hyland, Sam Stephenson, Arthur Gibney, and New Ireland Assurance who offered Fitzwilliam Tennis Club this land and a substantial sum of money in return for their property at Wilton Place. They accepted, and the houses were demolished.
