Permission to demolish Fitzwilton House granted

Completed in 1969, Fitwilton House by Shoolheifer & Burley is to be demolished after planning permission has been granted by Dublin City Council to redevelop the site. With its muscular concrete exo-skeleton, it’s a dramatic building with an attractive location. When viewed from different directions along the canal, and in different lights, it can appear dramatically different.
The new building is designed by Henry J Lyons Architects. The new office development will be c. 17,405m2 ranging from 4 to 8 storeys, 17m to 33m, in height.
