2006 – Inn at the Forks, Winnipeg, Manitoba
Architect: Architecture 49
Primarily a large rectangular block in form, similar to the Johnston Terminal alongside, the hotel’s form is broken up by projecting volumes for the public areas such as foyer, bar & restaurant, and function spaces. External materials include Tyndall limestone and a grey industrial brick that contrasts with the buff brick used elsewhere on the site in the older buildings.
