1999 – Eurotheum, Frankfurt, Germany
Architect: Novotny Mähner Assoziierte
Eurotheum contains a combination of offices and luxury apartments, has thirty-one floors, and is one hundred and ten metres tall. The sleek glass clad building has six projecting floors at the top. Along with the curving volume on one corner, this design element harks back to medieval defensive architecture – perhaps a reference to the old walls and towers of Frankfurt.
