1997 – Greenway School, Burnell Street, Winnipeg, Canada
Architect: Stechesen Katz
Colourful Post-modernist school finished in bold stripes of concrete block with colourful bays at ground level. Towards the northern end, the bays are two-story, the second floor of which is clad in green ribbed mental cladding providing texture as well as colour. All schools should be as fun as this. Replaced a J.B. Mitchell designed school of 1910.
