Originally built as offices for AIB in the newly established International Financial Services Centre, and one of several building with a similar architectural theme and palette. Following an international competition Burke-Kennedy Doyle Architects were commissioned to undertake a comprehensive urban renewal programme on the 27-acre site in the heart of the city. Their earliest buildings here are memorable for their use of green-tinted glass with limestone ground-floor facades.
