Architect: McGloughlin Shields O’Regan
Published from The Roadstone book of House Designs, produced in 1980. Billed as “A guide to building your own home with 25 new house designs by Reg Chandler, Des Doyle, Arthur Gibney, Ray MacDonnell, and Allan O’Regan. Described as “This house is planned for a rural site in an open countryside setting. The long and low house is deliberately restrained in its use of materials – white painted walls, hardwood window fames set in small openings, and a textured tiled roof. To break up the length of the building and avoid monotony the walls on the long sides are set at various planes.”
