A small site approximately one acre contains fifteen town houses, mostly all of three storeys – there are three detached and two single storey houses. All are grouped around three small courtyards, each with access from the private driveway. Typical accommodation on the ground floor – entrance hallway, shower and toilet, kitchen, dining room and a bedroom or study. On the first floor is the main living area with a small balcony, a bathroom, and a second bedroom; and on the second floors an ensuite master bedroom and a fourth bedroom. The development won a Europa Nostra award for 1980.

The Europa Nostra citation also noted that “Garages have been located either within the house structure or adjacent to it. Every house has a private garden either to the side or to the rear. Front gardens have been omitted, all house entrances being off the courtyards. The brick of the facades was carefully chosen for colour and texture in order to relate to the existing dwellings built around the turn of the century and midwars period. All dwellings have second hand Bangor blue slates in keeping with existing dwellings, windows and doors are hardwood.”
