Architect: Robert J. Greenslade, Building Design Partnership
Built to replace the Northern Banking Co. head office designed by Young & MacKenzie of 1903 which was demolished in 1971. An adjacent warehouse also by Young & Mackenzie was also demolished to extend the site. Designed by Robert J. Greenslade of Building Design Partnership as head offices with a ground floor branch and five floors of office space above. Clad externally in Portland stone with narrow slow windows.
