1973 – National College of Physical Education, Limerick

Established in 1973 as the National College of Physical Education to train physical education teachers. Later renamed as Thomond College of Education in 1976 when subjects including metalwork and woodwork were added. Described as “a futuristic if not somewhat unconventional building”. Now known as the PESS Building and has been extended.
