1970 – Aras an Phiarsaigh, Pearse Street, Dublin

Architect: Tyndall Hogan Hurley

1235

Built on the site of the Queen’s Theatre, which was the home of The Abbey after the fire that destoryed their theatre in 1951. The theatre closed in 1969 and was demolished shortly afterwards. The footprint of Aras an Phiarsaigh also included several adjacent buildings. This was refaced and extended in the mid 1990s with a brick facade.
