1969 – Library, Coleraine, Co. Derry
Architect: John Neil, Dalzell and Campbell

Fantastic modern library, now painted a dubious colour but listed in 2015. The interior book stacks are aligned with the windows, allowing for a magnificent double height interior space. A circular two-storey over basement library of concrete framed construction, built to the designs of John Neil of Dalzell and Campbell. A steeply sloping plot of ground for the proposed library but Neil was able to circumvent the problem through his modern design, supporting the building on freestanding columns and providing both ground and first floor entrances.
