The Nurse’s Home in Drogheda was built as part of the International Missionary Training Hospital which was itself finished in 1957. Built on a very restricted site, the building houses sleeping accommodation for eighty nurses in study bedrooms. The library and common room are on the upper floor, with views over the town. It was commended by the judges for the 1965–7 RIAI Triennial Gold Medal.
