1966 – Chancery Hall, Edmonton, Canada
Architect: Bouey & Bouey Architects
A unique combination of precast, prestressed concrete and cast-in-place concrete was used in the construction of this office building in Edmonton with load-bearing wall panels.
“An existing adjacent structure was the modern local police station complex. Since ownership of the proposed structure consisted mostly of local solicitors, the planners were instructed to develop an office building designed almost exclusively for legal profession occupancy with tunnel connection to a recently constructed 840-car underground parkade and to the law enforcement complex.”
