1965 – St. John Brebeuf Church, Winnipeg
Architect: Libling Michener & Associates
Designed after the major liturgical changes of Vatican II which removed many of the traditional separations between the celebrant and the congregation in Roman Catholic religious services. The shell-like plan creates a religious passage as the space opens up, reflecting the path of the believer through life, with the baptism font being on the way into the main body of the church.
