Built to replace some Georgian houses that were in use as office space for the print works behind, this modernist building was demolished in the late 1990s. The ground floor facade was decorated with mosaic tiles, which featured the name of the business.

The Ormond Printing Co. was set up in December 1898. They produced playing cards for the Irish market from the 1930s, with a distinctive ace of spades, joker and court cards. In 1935 the firm was acquired as a manufacturing facility for Waddington’s. The company closed in December 2009 after 111 years.
