1965 – Blooms Hotel, Anglesea Street, Dublin

Architect: Joseph N. Kidney & Co.

Built as a modern bedroom extension to Jury’s Hotel on College Green, and now the sole remaining portion. Built continuing the floor levels and roofline of the earlier building. The main hotel was demolished in the 1970s. Named Blooms Hotel despite the area having no Joycean connections and is not mentioned in any of his works. Fairly similar today except for the addition of a vast mural by James Earley in 2014.
