1964 – Hallmark Factory, Butterfield Ave., Rathfarnham, Dublin
Architect: David W. Cronin
Large single storey print works, brick clad with occasional full height windows set in a grassy landscape. Shoehorned into a tight plot behind residential properties, the land was too valuable, and when the owners moved to concentrate their printing at a plant in Oxfordshire, the property was sold for housing. Highly Commended in the 1962-64 RIAI Gold Medal where it lost out to the GEC Factory in Dundalk by Ronnie Tallon.
