1961 – No.10 Donald Street, Winnipeg
Architect: Waisman Ross
Built by Waisman Ross as their own architectural studio. After a series of mergers starting in 1964, the firm eventually became Number Ten Architects and named after this building. The main entrance is via a bridge from the higher street level. The upper floor is clad in aggregate panels interspersed with paired recessed windows, the centre of which is the exposed steel structure creating the lower level arcade. Paired windows on the lower level align vertically with the upper floor windows.
