Architect: Fred Brown, Downes Meehan & Robson

On September 4th 1958, fire completely destroyed the previous clubhouse designed by George L. O’Connor. Milltown moved to Thorncliffe House, which was adjacent to the 2nd tee, until this pavilion, designed by Fred Brown of Downes, Meehan & Robson opened on July 13th 1960. The large wrap around balcony was designed to offer views of three holes on the course.
