Stylistically linked to their Bridgefoot Street flats for Dublin Corporation (demolished 2006) and the offices for Stewart and Lloyds from around the same time. In 1950s Ireland, architects were increasingly being hired to design filling stations or garages as the oil companies aspired to a cleaner modern image. Scott’s office also designed a filling station for the corner of Townsend and Tara Streets for McCairn’s Garage.
