1956 – Post Sorting Office, Cootehill, Co. Cavan

One of a series of smaller post office buildings constructed around Ireland at this time. This small modernist structure features a taller and airy public office to the front of the sorting office, and must have been seen as very modern in comparison to the older post offices.
