1954 – Unbuilt Design for Nataional Gallery, Ottawa, Canada
Architect: Green Blankstein Russell Associates
In 1953 an architectural competition was announced to design a new National Gallery of Canada for a site on Ottawa, The winners were Green Blankstein Russell Associates of Winnipeg. Smith, Carter, Munn, Katelnikof and Ian M. Brown, also of Winnipeg finished third. Second place was awarded to Vincent Rother Associates of Montreal.
