A series of low, connected blocks of differing heights, clad in Tyndall limestone. The synagogue is noted for its beautiful stained glass windows, designed by Leo Mol and documented by the Institute for stained glass in Canada. In a retrofit over 2023/24, the original clerestory glass brick windows were replaced with more traditional frames and opaque glass. The decorative tabernacle doors were made by sculptor Hubert A. Garnier.
