1936 – Dublin Corporation Flats, Oliver Bond Street, Dublin

Architect: Herbert G. Simms

1680

Like similar flat complexes built by the City Council Housing Department in the 1930s, this development, Oliver Bond House, is of a high quality with some fine brick detailing. The buildings were designed with Art Deco touches and are named alphabetically from A to T with the letters I, J, K and Q omitted. The site is bounded by Oliver Bond Street, Bridgefoot Street, Ussher Street and Ussher’s Quay.
