1935 – Savoy Cinema, Bedford Row, Limerick

The Savoy Cinema was designed by English architect Leslie C. Norton with an Art Deco exterior and atmospheric interior The Savoy featured both live stage shows as well as movies in its earlier years, and contained a Compton organ. The interior was one of the largest in Ireland with a seating capacity for 1,500 people. Demolished and replaced with a multiplex.
