A fine office block in a mild Art Deco style. The stylised wheaf sheafs provide the decoration around the top of the building in place of the more traditional cornice. The building addresses its site with a stepped corner tower and large round headed doorway. There are nice details around the large main floor windows and the soaring doorway under the three stage tower. Also known as the Dominion Public Building, which is inscribed over the doorways.
