1932 – Union Station, Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada
Architect: John Schofield, Canadian National Railway
The station was used by both CNR and CPR trains, until it was demolished in 1973 to make way for the Saint John Throughway as part of an urban redevelopment plan in the early 1970s. Canadian National was relatively conservative at this time for major stations. Accordingly like at the Canadian National station in Hamilton, Ontario, this station was designed in a late Beaux Arts style of brick and stone.
