The Buller Building opened in 1932 and is similar to the Tier Building which also faces the Administration Building, with its rough hewn limestone exterior. It is home to the departments of microbiology and botany. A strong and picturesque exercise in Collegiate Gothic with its heavy stepped masonry, the building has a well-lit interior due to the array of large windows in the facades.
