1931 – Canadian National Station, Hamilton, Ontario

Constructed between 1929 and 1931, the Canadian National Railway is a substantial late Beaux-Arts building with a central pediment and pillared entrance. To the street, the front of the station is two storeys high. From the rear, where its accompanying tracks runs in a deep hidden cut, the station has four storeys. A glass-walled concourse extends from the rear of the station over the trackbed.
