1930 – Mount Garrett Bridge, Co. Wexford
Architect: Alfred Dover Delap

Five-span bridge over river connecting Wexford and Kilkenny, built 1927-30, including a single-span bascule bridge. Built to replace a wooden bridge destroyed in 1921. The bascule bridge opening design was based on that invented by the Chicago-based engineer William Donald Scherzer (1858-93). The remainder constructed using a reinforced concrete construction.
