Constructed in only eight months. From sidewalk to coping the Church and Court street elevations were of buff Indiana limestone, and the rear and Court elevations of buff pressed brick. The ground level had an enclosed gas station. The Imperial Oil Building at 56 Church Street in Toronto was the company’s headquarters from 1917 to 1957. It was designed by Clinton and Russell of New York and demolished in 1969.
