1914 – Canadian Bank of Commerce, Danforth & Broadway, Toronto, Canada
Architect: Victor Daniel Horsburgh
“….a Noteworthy combination of buff Indiana stone and local brick. The plan is an interesting solution of a problen involving the adjustment of a building to a triangular site.”
Still a bank branch today for the successor financial institution, this branch turns the corner with a curve and recessed entrance way behind. Similar in concept to his branches at Quebec City and Nanaimo. The building was added to the city’s heritage register in 1976.
