1912 – Royal Trust Building, Montreal, Canada
Architect: McKim Mead & White
The Royal Trust Building was designed by the American firm of McKim, Mead and White, which had also designed the Bank of Montreal alongside. This building was built after the municipal bill of 1901 which was in force until 1923, that limited commercial skyscraper’s height at 10 floors or 130 feet.
