1908 – Former Royal Bank of Canada, 221 Rue St. Jacques, Montreal, Canada
Architect: H.C. Stone
Built as 147 Rue Saint-Jacques, and later renumbered to 221 Rue Saint-Jacques, this bank served as head office and Montreal main branch from 1908–28. It was the Royal Bank of Canada’s first head office. The building has since been extended upwards and is now living accommodation. The facade statuary is gone.
