Described in an advertising feature for the merits of sand lime brick as “The Wellington School, Winnipeg, in which 550,000 sand lime brick, furnished by the Manitoba Pressed Brick Co. of Winnipeg, were used. The building is trimmed with Brownstone and presents an excellent appearance.” Opened to around 160 students in grades one through four on 6 May 1907, later extended, but replaced in the early 1970s.
