1907 – Travellers’ Block, 283 Bannatyne Avenue, Winnipeg
Architect: Darling & Pearson
Constructed as headquarters for the North West Commercial Travellers’ Association, a mutual organisation for independent salesmen. The building provided amenities such as meeting rooms, accommodations, lounges, and a Turkish bath. It is an attractive and substantial building finished in a warm red brick with a solid overhanging cornice.
