Designed by Provincial Architect Samuel Hooper as part of the new agricultural campus at Tuxedo in Winnipeg. Only the third such college in Canada, it quickly started to outgrow the property and as the province was unable to purchase more land close by, they switched their attention to Fort Garry. The new campus at Fort Garry grew to become the University of Manitoba. The Tuxedo campus went through a variety of uses, from a school for the deaf, to Fort Osborne barracks and military hospital. Now part of Asper campus, most of the original buildings have been demolished.
