1907 – Cass Gilbert design for Saskatchewan Legislature, Regina
Architect: Cass Gilbert
Invited to design the new Saskatchewan Legislature, Cass Gilbert produced this design. However the public demanded an architectural competition as it was felt Gilbert was too friendly with the main promoter of the new building Premier Thomas W. Scott. The design by E. & W.S. Maxwell was chosen and constructed from 1909 onwards.
