Also known as the Kelly Block, and nestled between the Ashdown and McClary warehouses, this is a good example of the design elements that were applied to Exchange are warehouses. The use of the local buff yellow brick with stone sills and basement, and the large round headed windows under a metal cornice are all very attractive features. The architect Charles Henry Walker (1855-1927) moved to Winnipeg from Ontario in 1879 and later formed a partnership with Samuel Hooper as Hooper & Walker from 1905-09, before he left and moved to British Colummbia. Now residential.
