A very elegant Beaux-Arts style Hôtel de Ville in a prominent site along one of Tours tree lined boulevards. The Hôtel de Ville is one of two important buildings on the semicircular Place Jean Jaurès – the other is the Palais de Justice. This is one of three major building in Tours designed by celebrated architect Victor Laloux who designed the Gare D’Orsay in Paris.
