1904 – Baptist Church, Brandon, Manitoba
Architect: W.A. Elliott
Designed in the Gothic Revival style by local architect William A. Elliott. Finished externally in stone and brick with the cornerstone laid in May 1904, with the first service in December of that year. The church, which cost approximately $26,000, has a tower featuring a parapet with a battlement and abatsons. Closed in 1992 when the congregation moved to a new building. Used for several purposes since, it is a fine building that deserved a second life.
