1902 – Unbuilt Voysey design for Carnegie Library and Museum, Limerick

Architect: C.F.A. Voysey

0001

Unsuccessful entry for a competition for a new public library for Limerick. The architectural competition assessor was G.C. Ashlin and it had fifty-three entries of which thirteen were Irish. The first prize went to George F. Beckett, but the second-placed entry by George P. Sheridan was constructed. This Voysey design heavily influenced the Library of 1912 at Clondalkin, Co. Dublin by T.J. Byrne.
