1900s – Cavehill Post Office, Belfast, Co. Antrim

Built as both a gate lodge to the Belfast Castle estate and used as a post office for many years. Now a private residence. A very attractive building with a turreted porch that included the entrance to the public office and the residence. The building’s current setting is less rural than depicted in these postcard images.
