1898 – Former Belfast Bank, Portrush, Co. Antrim
Architect: Vincent Craig
No longer use as a bank today, latterly part of Dansk Bank after a series of mergers and takeovers, but now a restaurant. Slightly reminiscent of his work at Rathmines for the same bank due to the corner turret. This is however a more assertive and prominent building with the fine ornamented tower with the decorative elements beneath. The residence upstairs consists of six bedrooms which were described as vying “with each other for the enchantment of the views”.
