Unbuilt proposal to remodel the medieval Carfax Tower in central Oxford after the demolition of the main body of the attached church in 1896. The Tower is all that now remains of the 12th century St Martin’s Church, and is 23m tall. No building in central Oxford may be constructed higher than it.
