1892 – Swedenborgian Church, St. Paul, Minnesota
Architect: Gilbert & Taylor
Built in 1886, the Swedenborgian Church was designed by Cass Gilbert, the St. Paul architect who later became famous for the Minnesota State Capitol, the Woolworth Building in New York, and the U.S. Supreme Court building in Washington D.C. This was an early commission, during what he called his “house building” period.
