Architect: J. Howard Pentland, Board of Public Works
“THE drawing which we reproduce in this issue is from the pen of Mr. Howard Pentland, B.A., B.E., F.R.I.B.A., Chief Surveyor to the Board of Public Works. It was hung at this year’s exhibition of the Royal Hibernian Academy of Arts. The building has been completed for some time, and the extended local postal and telegraph business is now in full swing. The contractors were Messrs. H. and J. Martin, of Dublin and Belfast.” The Irish Builder, July 1 1891. Closed as a post office in 2024.
