1889 – Proposal for Post Office, Dublin

Architect: J. Howard Pentland, Board of Public Works

0001

Unbuilt proposal for District Postal and Telepgraph Office. “Our illustration is taken from a drawing by Mr. Howard Pentland of the Public Works Department, exhibited at the Royal Hibernian Academy. We understand that negotiations have for some time been in progress for the erection of a new district post and telegraph office in a central position, but, that the final arrangements have not yet been made. The design we illustrate was intended to be executed in brick and cut stone.”
